World’s Greatest Shave

Nathan is supporting the Leukaemia Foundation and Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation this year!

My beautiful husband to be is taking part of World’s Greatest Shave. Sponsoring him would mean so much as this is would be the third time in 20 years that he would have shaved his hair and only the first time looking to raise money.

Funds will go straight to the Leukaemia Foundation.

From root to tip his hair is 60cm in length and we will be donating his hair to the Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation for little girls who have an auto-immune disease. This would be the second time Nathan would be donating his beautiful brunette hair to the Alopecia Areata Foundation.

We will also be attending the Rocks Beats Cancer on the 17th March 2018 at Chardon’s Corner where he will go under the razor and shave his hair. Please make a donation large or small and support the Leukaemia Foundation 20 years appeal.

The World’s Greatest Shave helps every day Aussies who are affected by Blood cancer. Blood cancer claims more lives than breast cancer or melanoma. And today another 35 people will be given the devastating news they have leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or another blood disorder.

Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation is an organisation that supports people who have an auto-immune desease. Alopecia Areata is an auto-immune disease that results in hair loss on the scalp and elsewhere on the body. It can range from small, individual smooth patches of hair loss, to total loss of all hair on the body – including ear and nose hair. Alopecia Areata is not uncommon, and current estimates suggest that 2% of the population will be affected by the condition at some point in their lifetime. It can effect people all ages, genders and ethnicity, but most commonly presents during childhood.

Please click on this link and help Nathan raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation and send his hair to wig makers for little girls around Australia.
